PALMYRA, Va. (WVIR) - The Fluvanna Historical Society is bringing together local arts and crafts vendors for the Second Sundays Holiday Market. The market is held on the second Sunday of every month from June to November in the historic village of Palmyra.

The event was the last one of the season and was holiday-themed.

Fluvanna Historical Society Director Patricia Johnson says there is a lot the historic village has to offer. "It’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon and it's a great way to support local artists and craftspeople at the Fluvanna Historical Society while you kind of check those items off your holiday shopping list.”

People could also take tours of the Old Stone Jail Museum and historic courthouse.
