Two Charlottesville Restaurants are Preparing for UVA Men's Basketball Season
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - The UVA Men's Basketball team kicked off their first home game of the season Sunday evening and for those unable to watch games in the stadium, it could mean heading to a local restaurant or bar. Two places where you can watch games this season, Three Notch'd Brewery and Wild Wings Cafe, are bringing in more staff and prepping food to keep fans happy.
"I mean we have to make sure we've got the staff in place. This place is large, we can have 400 or 500 people in here watching the game so lots of staff, lots of training, we got some new food menu items for basketball season," Three Notch'd President Scott Roth said.
Wild Wings Cafe is stocking up on alcohol and food. "We make sure we have the beer, the wine, the liquor towels sanitizer bottles, make sure that our ticket times are not going over 15 or 20 minutes that's a huge thing" Wild Wings Team Lead Darian Duncan said.
Both places recommend arriving an hour and a half before games this season to secure a seat.
