CROZET, Va. (WVIR) - Chiles Peach Orchard in Crozet is honoring all first responders by celebrating First Responders Day.

The Western Albemarle Rescue Squad and Crozet Volunteer Department displayed their vehicles. While the Albemarle County Police Department offered child fingerprinting and IDs.

Orchard Manager Karen Stenson says as a veteran it's important to pay respect to first responders and the military ahead of Veterans Day on Monday. "It’s for the veterans we do a lot of things for them. We do a lot for the fire rescue, police, everybody that's here - it’s to support the community, to support our fire and rescue and any veteran.”

All first responders who brought their I.D. received special discounts on all purchases.
