Board Members Sign New Equity Policy for Charlottesville Schools
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - A new equity policy aims to ensure better accountability at Charlottesville City Schools.
The Charlottesville School Board signed off on the policy Thursday, November 7.
According to media partner the Daily Progress, a final version of the policy adopted Thursday night develops a system-wide equity plan. It gives each division and school specific measures and ways to report back to the School Board on progress in equity focus areas such as literacy and school discipline.
