CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Artists in Charlottesville gathered together on Saturday, November 2 to showcase their work and support a good cause.

ARTCHO is an annual festival bringing the people of Charlottesville together at IX Art Park to enjoy art, music, and food. Donations and proceeds from the event benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville.

"We started out in a little parking lot in Pantops with 17 artists and two bands and we're up to about 50 artists and five bands. The event is a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity,” said Eileen Butler, ARTCHO co-founder.

In order to take part in the festival, artists had to pay a fee. That money will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville.
