Car Causes Minor Damage to Charlottesville Jewelry Store
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Employees at a jewelry store in the Millmont Shopping Center had little scare Friday morning.
Charlottesville police were called to Keller & George Jewelers around 9:30 a.m. Friday, November 1, for a report of a car into the building. It is believed that an employee from another business accidentally jumped the curb and hit the jewelry store Thursday night.
No injuries were reported.
There was minor damage to the exterior, and owners say it caused a few items to fall from a shelving unit on the wall.
The owner of Keller & George Jewelers is working with the driver's insurance company.
