AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early-morning shooting on Pine Bluff Road.

Deputies responded to a home in the 500 block around 2:50 a.m. Thursday, October 31. The sheriff’s office says one person was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg, and is in stable condition.

Authorities have not yet released the name or the victim or the suspect, who is still at-large.

On October 31, 2019 at 0251 hours, deputies responded to the 500x of Pine Bluff Road in reference to a shooting into a residence. One victim was identified and was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg and is in stable condition.

Investigators with the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office have been actively working this incident and a suspect has been identified but is still at large.
