Search for Missing Louisa Co. Teen Continues in Hanover Co.
HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - Sheriff's deputies, Virginia State Police and the FBI continue their search efforts for a missing 14-year-old girl.
Authorities have been working for days to find Isabel Shae Hicks and her mother's ex-boyfriend, 33-year-old Bruce William Lynch Jr. Search efforts have expanded from Louisa County into Hanover County.
"Our goal remains to bring Isabel and Bruce home safe,” said Major Donald Lowe, Louisa County Sheriff's Office.
Officials say that they received a call on Monday, October 28, that someone saw Hicks and Lynch at a home on Clazemont Road. Law enforcement set up a perimeter to search the area, but have so far come up with nothing.
"What we're trying to avoid is an escalated situation that is unnecessary. So if Bruce and Isabel are listening to this, please, please, please bring her home safely and so we can get them the help they need,” Lowe said.
Major Lowe is asking the community to stay vigilant in the search: "As a father you know we all love our children. We love the ones that we love dearly. We don't want anything to happen to them. So we're hoping that Bruce if you are listening to this, basically do the right thing and let her go."
Investigators say Lynch may now be clean-shaven. If you have any information at all you officials ask you call the FBI Richmond Office at 804-261-1044.
