HARRISONBURG, Va. (WVIR) - A family dealing with the recent loss of their eight-year-old son to cancer is receiving a gift they will cherish. Colton Kopcinski passed away in June after a battling acute myeloid leukemia (AML).

State Farm and the Roc Solid Foundation teamed up to build a new playset for his little brother and big sister.

Connor's mom, Stephanie, is enjoying seeing the smile on her kid’s faces after the rough year they have had. "The kids miss him so much we miss him so much absolutely beyond belief but we just the generosity of this community and this foundation is overwhelming.”

The Roc Solid Foundation will transport the playset from the State Farm headquarters to their home in Harrisonburg on Friday where James Madison University students will help reinstall it.
