CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - The #20 Virginia football team will be back on the field on Friday, as the Cavaliers travel to face the Hurricanes in Miami.

UVa is undefeated in conference play, while the 'Canes will be looking for their first win.

Miami lost 42-35 last week at home against Virginia Tech, and their only wins are against Central Michigan and Bethune-Cookman.

Virginia is 3-0 in the month of October against Miami, winning in 2010, 2011, and last year.

Friday's game will be the earliest date on the schedule these teams have ever met, which could be chalked up to a fun little factoid, except: The Weather.

The game is in South Florida.

The temperatures are expected to reach the mid-Eighties in Miami on Friday, but the 'Hoos have a plan.

"I'd like you to all follow my finger," said offensive coordinator Robert Anae, as he pointed to a cooler filled with sports drinks.  "Ready? Hydration! That's where that comes from. It's right there. This is how you take care of those kind of things.  Train hard and hydrate.  We train hard, so we're going to make an extra effort to hydrate along the way."

Virginia and Miami kickoff on Friday at 8pm in South Florida.
