ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - Employees at an Albemarle County real estate company got to relive their childhoods for a good cause on Wednesday.

Employees at Park Properties Management Company are celebrating 30 years by participating in their company-wide team building day. This is all in an effort to donate toys to Toys for Tots in Charlottesville and Albemarle County.

Park Properties has a community service branch called Park Advantage to give back to the community. Employees with the company spent Wednesday at Boar's Head Resort building 20 red wagons.

Each of the wagons were filled with 1980s themed toys such as LEGOs and Hot Wheels. In order to fill the wagons, participants had to successfully complete a game or activity at each of the different stations set up around the room.

"It's pretty awesome, this is one of my favorite things that we do every year," said Stacey Radar of Park Properties. "It's really what I work for to make our community a better place and this is just another way we can do that."

Each year, Park Properties picks a different group to donate and support. Last year, it donated skateboards to foster children.

A representative from Toys for Tots came to collect all of the toys on Wednesday afternoon. The toys will be given out on Christmas so the children can have a present.
