CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - A Charlottesville nonprofit is spreading awareness about the community's resources for individuals with disabilities. The faith-based nonprofit, All Blessings Flow, hosted the ‘All About Abilities’ fair on Saturday morning.

This is the first time the nonprofit held the event, which featured more than 40 organizations that support people with disabilities.

"We have exhibitors here from the sheriff’s department and the rescue squad, from many different nursing homes and assisted living facilities as well as places here that help children,” said Douglas Dodd, vice-president of All Blessings Flow.

The event included a bake sale, a raffle, and a face painting station. Proceeds from the event will go toward the nonprofit, which refurbishes medical equipment and gives it to those in need.
