ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - A massive yard sale is underway in Albemarle County and all of the proceeds benefit a charity in the Caribbean.

The 15th Annual Haiti Yard Sale is going on this weekend at Mount Olivet Baptist Church and also at the Crossroad Store. The sale features everything from clothes to collectors items, with prices as low as just a quarter.

All of the funds go to the Robert Ford Orphanage and School, which supports 1,250 students, a professional school, and a seniors facility.

"There have been thousands of volunteer hours so far to collect all this material from other yard sales from houses and so on, and over the three days we're here, they're going to raise a substantial amount of money," said Dr. Raymond Ford, President of Ford Haitian Foundation.

The yard sale continues Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
