SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - Some Shenandoah Valley business owners now have the tools to boost their bottom line thanks to the 7th annual Valley Business Summit. Every year, state legislator’s partner with the Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce and Blue Ridge Community College to host the event in Weyers Cave.

The goal is getting information and resources into the hands of small business owners. The day included a keynote speaker, resource fair and the opportunity to talk with house members.

"I think the main thing we hope people leave with is an understanding of what's out there to help them to make their business operate more effectively. To answer questions that they may have on why does the state, or the local government, do things this way?  How can I overcome some of those challenges?” said Del. Steve Landes

The event also provides an opportunity for small business owners to network.
