Paladin Media Group Owner Dies in Car Accident in Michigan
The Charlottesville community is mourning the loss of Paladin Media Group owner Kent Williamson. Williamson and three others were killed when they car they were in was t-boned Friday afternoon in Buchanan, Michigan.
Police say a 2007 Ford Fusion, driven by 53-year-old Dub Collins, was driving at a high speed, ran a stop sign, and t-boned a 2000 Honda Accord. All the occupants in the Honda Accord, 66-year-old Robert Klint, 52-year-old Kent Williamson, 60-year-old Melissa Klint, and 22-year-old Landyn Klint, died in the accident.
Collins and his passenger, 39-year-old Heather Collins, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police believe alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
Collins is being held on a Michigan Department of Corrections parole detainer. Police say they will announce if criminal charges will be filed against him soon.
