Darius Rucker and Lady Antebellum to headline concert during QBE Shootout
NAPLES, Fla. - The QBE Shootout in Naples will feature some big names in the country music world this year.
Organizers of the PGA Tour event announced on Wednesday that Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker will headline an outdoor concert on the driving range at the Tiburon Golf Club. It will follow the second round of the tournament from 4 to 10 p.m.
The concert, dubbed "Live Fest," will feature much more than music, including a MillerCoors Beer Garden, according to a press release.
"As part of our continuing growth efforts, we are thrilled to bring Live Fest to this year's QBE Shootout. The addition of this premier concert fills an entertainment need in the market, and is sure to reward the Southwest Florida community with a night to remember," Rob Hartman, the director of the QBE Shootout Tournament, said.
Country fans are sure to recognize both Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker, and non-country fans may get a "hoot" out of Rucker, who previously served as the lead singer for Hootie & the Blowfish.
Two other bands will join Lady A and Rucker on stage on Dec. 14 and will be named later this summer.
General admission and VIP tickets will both be available starting on Saturday. You can learn more about how to get tickets and what they include by clicking here.
