The 2019 Virginia High School Hall of Fame, sponsored by who have made outstanding contributions to high school athletic and activity programs. 

One of those ten people were Billy Baber. 

Baber was a three-sport star at Western Ablemarle where he earned 11 varsity letters in football, basketball and baseball.

Once he graduated he took his football talents to the University of Virginia. Baber played tight end. He finished his career with 54 catches for 544 yards and five touchdowns

His athletic journey doesn't stop there. Baber was drafted in the fifth round of the NFL by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2001. He also played for the Chargers in 2004 and the Bucaneers in 2004.
