CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - UVa junior point guard Ty Jerome was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 24th pick in the first round of the NBA Draft in Brooklyn on Thursday.

Jerome will not staying in Philly.  That pick was traded to Boston, who will ship Jerome to Phoenix, so he will be suiting up for the Suns next season.

It's an unprecedented night for the Cavaliers.  With De'Andre Hunter selected 4th overall, UVa had two players picked in the First Round of the NBA Draft for the first time in program history.

It's also the first time Virginia had multiple players selected in the same draft since 1995 (Corey Alexander, Junior Burrough).
