Staunton Woman Pleads Guilty in Connection with Fatal Crash
STAUNTON, Va. (WVIR) - A Staunton woman pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated involuntary manslaughter on Monday, June 10.
Trinity King, who’s now 26, was high on methamphetamine and intoxicated last October when she slammed into a Chevrolet truck on Hermitage Road outside Waynesboro.
King's two-year-old son Sterling was killed, along with her brother Terry Lee King, Jr.
King's five-year-old son suffered injuries and her baby was also in the car at the time of the incident.
The driver of the truck was injured as well.
King is set to be sentenced on October 17. She faces up to 20 years in prison for each charge.
