CROZET, Va. (WVIR) - Despite the rain on Saturday, several people braved the elements to check out some sweet rides in Crozet. The annual Crozet Car Show had close to 70 cars on display at Claudius Crozet Park on Saturday afternoon.

Proceeds from the show will go toward keeping up that community-owned park. The cars on display ranged from supped sporty ones to classic antiques.

"Many of these cars don't even see the light of day but maybe one or two times a year so it's a good opportunity for people who have an interest and a love for cars for people to come out and enjoy themselves,” said Steve Sellars, organizer.

People also got to enjoy some games and good food. Organizers aimed to raise $3,000.
