06/07/2019 Press Release from Charlottesville Police:

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA- On June 6, 2019, at approximately 0307 hours, officers responded to the 700 block of Avon Street for the report of an armed home invasion. 
No one was injured, and the suspects fled the scene prior to officers arrival. The homeowner reported numerous items stolen from the residence. 
Approximately 30 minutes later, officers responded to the 700 block of Graves Street for the report of a breaking and entering. The resident was alerted by the barking of their dog and saw a suspect fleeing the residence. 
Officers located 2 potential suspects shortly after the second incident and after additional investigation, they were arrested. 
A subsequent investigation revealed one of the suspects was also connected to 2 breaking and entering’s that occurred earlier in the night, one in the 600 block of Evergreen Avenue and one in the 700 block of Lexington Avenue. Additionally, the suspect is charged related to a separate breaking and entering on Evergreen Avenue that occurred on May 19, 2019.  
Both arrestees are juveniles and their names are being withheld. They were charged with the following crimes:
-Breaking and entering (5 counts)
-Motor Vehicle Theft
-Petit larceny
-Grand larceny
