Duo attacks Miami Burger King manager after they were denied free french fries
MIAMI, Fla. (NBC 6 Miami) - A Florida woman has been arrested after police said she attacked the manager of a Burger King when they were denied free french fries.
A second suspect is still on the run.
According to our NBC affiliate in Miami, Natasha Bagley, 42, was arrested on several charges including armed burglary with assault or battery, attempted robbery with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief.
The attack happened in early April. Police know who the other suspect is, but they have not been caught.
According to the arrest report, the pair went through the restaurant's drive-thru and asked for free fries, but an employee denied their request. Minutes later, they entered the restaurant and jumped over the counter.
The duo demanded money and then the other suspect hit the manager in the face with a .45 caliber pistol.
Bagley attacked the manager, and as they started to leave, the other suspect ripped both registers and monitors from the counter, causing them to break, the report said.
