The FBI is stepping up efforts to find an alleged domestic terrorist accused of throwing acid on a police officer back in 1981.

The bureau released an age-progressed photo of what Donna Joan Borup might look like today.

She's accused of throwing acid in the eyes of a port authority police officer during an anti-apartheid protest at New York's JFK Airport in 1981.

The FBI also published additional photos of Borup during 1981.

The attack left the officer partially blind.

Borup was arrested after the incident, but failed to appear for her trial in 1982 and has not been seen since.

A federal arrest warrant was issued against her after she was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

The FBI is offering up to $100,000 for any information leading to her arrest.
