Augusta County Supervisor Announces Run for Clerk of Court
AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - An Augusta County supervisor is running for clerk of court. Carolyn Bragg kicked off her campaign on Tuesday, May 14, at Shenandoah Acres in Stuarts Draft.
Bragg, who’s running as an Independent, just recently sold her Stuarts Draft business after 17 years.
She says she's learned a lot about the courts during her five years on the Augusta County Board of Supervisors.
The self-described hard worker says she has the skills to do the job successfully.
"A lot of the duties that are of the clerk's office deal with finance,” Bragg said. “They deal with personnel management, organization planning, and these are skills that over my 30 years of management experience I think will be beneficial."
Bragg is married with one son and has lived in Augusta County for 27 years.
