Waynesboro Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office and The Waynesboro Police Department Joint Press Release:
Earlier today the Waynesboro Circuit Court Grand Jury issued a true bill of indictment charging Shawn Preston Jones, Age 42, with the First Degree Murder of Deborah Allen. The charges stem from an alleged incident that took place in the early morning hours of April 6, 2019, at the Royal Inn Motel located on West Main Street in Waynesboro.

Mr. Jones will next appear in the Waynesboro Circuit Court on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. The trial, in this case, is expected to take place in late September 2019.
