Blasting Operations on Route 250 Bypass Begin
ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - Blasting operations will slow traffic on the Route 250 bypass in Albemarle County.
The Virginia Department of Transportation says the closure will happen twice a day for about 15 minutes. The first closing is at 10:30 a.m. and the second is at 2:30 p.m.
This is all happening along the bypass between the Charlottesville city limits and the Route 29-250 bypass ramp.
Faulconer Construction is blasting for underground utility work. The closures will happen each weekday for about four weeks.
