Update: Missing Disabled Augusta County Man Has Been Found

The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping to locate an elderly missing man who suffers from Alzheimer’s and Addison’s disease.
Irwin Leo Tichenor (Goes by the nickname “IL”)
- W/M DOB: 03/26/1951
- HGT/5’06” WGT/160
- Blue eyes/Gray Hair
- Wearing grey flannel pajamas (top and matching bottom)
Tichenor was last seen this morning at around 10 a.m. when he left his residence located in the 2500 block of Lee Jackson Highway, Staunton. He is operating a Silver 2004 Toyota Camry bearing Virginia Registration JEV-4274, and he might be heading to the area of Roanoke, Virginia.
Anyone with information on Mr. Tichenor’s whereabouts is requested to contact the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office at (540) 245-5333.
Update: The Augusta County Sheriff's Office stated at 4:30 p.m. that Irwin Leo Tichenor was found.
