CROZET, Va. (WVIR) - Getting around to some of western Albemarle County's breweries and wineries just got a whole lot easier.

On Saturday, the Crozet Trolley Company began offering its first rides to people going to breweries in the area.

During the weekend, the company held a tour specifically in celebration of Saint Patrick's Day.

The trolley will hold different tours every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday showcasing some of the area's vineyards, cideries and more.

“They have these in Napa and Sonoma Valley wine trolleys and we thought it would fit in perfectly here especially with how important the railroad system was to Crozet and this area and it sort of fit the character of a small town,” said Shawn Bird, owner of Crozet Trolley Company.
