SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A 100-pound mountain lion was spotted on a family's home surveillance camera wandering around the house, hanging out at their front door.

The lion can be seen walking up the front walkway then stopping at the front door.

The homeowner had to call animal control to get the lion off the property. Neighbors were told to shelter in place. Officers used a tranquilizer dart to capture it safely.

The mountain lion will find a new home, far away from the suburban neighborhood.
