WAYNESBORO, Va. (WVIR) - A family-owned business in Waynesboro is closing its doors after 20 years of business.

The owners of Wright’s Hallmark are retiring. Everything inside the store must go and starting on Monday, the store is doing a 30 percent off sale store-wide.

As time goes on, they plan to increase the discount. Owner Guy Wright says it’s a bittersweet goodbye.

“We’ve really enjoyed the customers that we acquired during the years and we’re going to miss them coming and seeing us every day,” Wright said.

With the relationships with Hallmark ending, reward and bonus certificates will no longer be honored at Wright’s.

The store will stay open until they sell everything inside. Wright says he anticipates they have about six weeks left.
