Virginia State Police Investigating 2-Vehicle Crash in Louisa County
Virginia State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash in Louisa County that occurred on December 1.

LOUISA CO., Va. - On December 1, 2018 (Saturday) at approximately, 5:40 p.m., the Virginia State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at Route 33 (Jefferson Highway), .25 miles east of Route 635 (Willow Brook Road).
The trooper's preliminary investigation reveals that a 2012 Dodge Charger driven by a male, was traveling westbound on Route 33 when he crossed the center line coming into a curve and struck a 2012 Scion head on.
The male driver of the Charger fled on foot and presently, has not been located. Two additional adult male passengers were transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Only one of those males were wearing their seat belt. The driver of the Scion, a female, 19 years of age in addition to two passengers, a 16 year old and a 5 month old infant were also transported for treatment of serious injuries. The 19 and 16 year old were not seat belted. The infant was properly restrained in a child safety seat.
The investigation into this crash remains ongoing.
Charges are pending at this time.
