ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - Students at Saint Anne's Belfield School are learning from several high profile CEOs during the annual Greenway Symposium.

Saturday's guest speakers included Nobel Peace Prize recipient Jerry White and University of Virginia Medical Center CEO Pam Sutton-Wallace.

Organizer Piper Holden says they wanted this event and its speakers to be about looking to the future in order to present students with the chance to explore diverse opportunities.

“We really hope that students come away with a strong sense of different backgrounds and basically just the diverse nature of our speakers and so they're going to be talking about their aspirations for the next five years and kind of their idea of the future,” she said.

After each presentation students and community members had the chance to ask questions and engage in discussion with the speakers.
