CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - A group of University of Virginia students are memorializing victims and families in Pittsburgh one week after a gunman opened fire there at Tree of Life Synagogue.

Dozens gathered at the UVA amphitheater on Saturday, November 3, for a special service in honor of the Jewish community in Pittsburgh.

Students and community members banded together and sang prayers, saying this is the first step in the healing process after this horrific tragedy.
