STAUNTON, Va. (WVIR) - A Staunton man has pleaded guilty in a murder-for-hire plot.

Twenty-one-year old Devon Miles Fauber pleaded guilty in court on Thursday, November 1, to two counts of solicitation to commit murder.

According to prosecutors, Fauber got on a website called Rent-A-Hitman: Your Point & Click Solution, in an attempt to have a woman he dated and her parents killed. However, the website was a play on words that aims to help people drive traffic to their websites.

According to Fauber, he went to a high school in Florida for people with special needs.

The commonwealth's attorney says he plans to seek a 10-year sentence. His sentencing is scheduled for March 5.
