CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - A Charlottesville preschool that’s run by parents is welcoming back one of its own.

Quin Montelius, an alumnus of the preschool, served her first day as an assistant teacher at the Chancellor Street Preschool Co-Operative after enrolling her daughter at the school.

She says that although it’s been a few years since she was a student there, some things haven't changed.

“Sometimes I’ll be in, like, the bird room and I’ll see something out of the corner of my eye and I’m like, ‘oh, my gosh, that's like the same oven that was here when I was here,” Montelius said.

Montelius is expecting her second child, and says she plans to enroll him or her into the school one day as well.
