CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - A married couple from the Charlottesville area is among those suing President Donald Trump's administration in federal court, accusing it of sabotaging the Affordable Care Act.

The cities - Baltimore, Maryland, Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio, and Chicago -and this couple are arguing the administration's actions are discouraging people from enrolling in health care plans.

People living in central Virginia have seen insurance rates spike, making it one of the most expensive places for coverage.

The federal lawsuit was filed Thursday, August 2, in Baltimore.
