AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - It's tax-free weekend in Virginia, which also means it’s time for Stuff the Bus in the valley.

The United Way of Greater Augusta is collecting school supplies at the Waynesboro and Staunton Walmarts.

Look for the yellow school buses parked out front, where people can drop off school supplies like paper, pencils, backpacks, glue sticks, and more.

Donated items are going to 29 schools in Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County - just in time for school to start.

Stuff the Bus kicks off Friday, August 3, at 9 a.m. and wraps up Sunday, August 5, at 6 p.m.
