CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - A malicious wounding case stemming from August 12, 2017 is now set to be back in Charlottesville Circuit Court next month.

The court was expected to take up a motions hearing Wednesday, July 18, in the case against 50-year-old Tyler Watkins Davis, but it is now set for August 13.

The Florida man is accused of attacking DeAndre Harris inside the Market Street Parking Garage last year. Several other men - Daniel Patrick Borden, Jacob Scott Goodwin, and Alex Michael Ramos - have been found guilty in that violent incident.

Davis' three-day jury trial is expected to get underway on September 17.
