CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Mariana Duque-Marino defeated Anhelina Kalinina in three sets to win the 17th Annual Boyd Tinsley Clay Court Classic singles championship on Sunday at the Boar's Head Sports Club.

Duque-Marino dropped the first set 6-0, but the 28-year-old Colombian rallied to win the next two 6-1 and 6-2.

The victory in the $80-thousand tournament is her first singles title since 2014, and 19th overall.

The 21-year-old Kalinina suffered defeat in a tournament final for the first time in seven matches.

Sophie Chang and Alexandra Mueller beat Ashley Kratzer and Whitney Osuigwe 3-6, 6-4, 10-7 to win the doubles championship.
