CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Saint Anne’s Belfield is hosting Charlottesville leaders, professors, and entrepreneurs at its student-run Greenway Symposium.

The forum runs from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday December 10 in the newly constructed Greenway Rise Auditorium. The auditorium is located at Saint Anne's Belfield upper school campus on Ivy Road.

Just like the popular Ted Talks, people will get to hear from experts in a range of fields.

Speakers include former Charlottesville Police Chief Tim Longo, who will talk about relational policing, and Doctor Wendy Yamato with world strides will address leadership in relation to travel.

"It's special because you have all these different topics address and I think it's just kind of an interesting dialogue about Charlottesville and what - how people impact a community in a positive way," said Junho Moon, the organizer of the event.

The other three speakers include Habitat for Humanity CEO Dan Rosensweig, entrepreneur and cofounder of Cville Coffee, Toan Nguyen and University of Virginia Psychology Professor James Coan.

Tickets are still available, and admission is free and open to the public.
