STAFFORD, Va. (AP) - Deputies in Virginia are searching for a man who they say dragged a woman out of her vehicle after she got into a wreck and sexually assaulted her.

The Stafford County Sheriff's Office tells local media that the victim's vehicle was struck by another vehicle early Monday morning.

After the crash, deputies say the suspect removed the victim from her vehicle, dragging her to a nearby ditch, where he sexually assaulted her for over two hours.

The suspect then left the area in his vehicle and the victim returned to her vehicle and called 911.
