Groups Working to Improve Energy Use in Charlottesville-Albemarle
On Tuesday, the Blue Ridge Apartment Council hosted an event with speakers from Energize!Charlottesville, the University of Virginia Office of Sustainability, and Woodard Properties. Presenters explained new online tools available to help people manage utility bills, as well as how to start energy-savings plan.

Energize!Charlottesville and the Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) are offering discount home energy assessments in city neighborhoods.
Energize!Charlottesville will add up the city-wide energy savings in its bid to win $5 million from the Georgetown University Energy Prize.
