A former Louisa County High School coach is facing assault charges involving two teenage girls.
The Louisa County Sheriff's Office isn't saying what prompted these charges. The Sheriff's Office has not returned NBC29's repeated calls on the investigation, but two warrants share some of the details about the ex-coach's arrest.
Dean Hall, 41, of Mineral faces two misdemeanor assault and battery charges. Arrest warrants accuse Hall of incidents involving two separate 17-year-old girls in early April and early May.
the incidents were first brought to the attention of a Sheriff's Office detective by the school system. The Central Virginian also reports a major in the Sheriff's Office tells them the assaults were not violent or sexual.
A school spokesman says Hall is no longer employed by the school system. He taught alternative education and coached wrestling.
Hall was released with the conditions he avoid contact with the victims and Louisa school administrators. He's also not allowed on school property except to pick up or drop off his own children.
Hall is due for a hearing in Louisa Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Friday morning at 9 a.m.
