Albemarle County police have given an all clear after a bomb threat prompted evacuation of Monticello High School Monday morning. 

Police say the bomb threat came in around 8:15 a.m.  The students were initially evacuated to the football field, but due to cold temperatures, the students were then taken to Cale Elementary School nearby.

Virginia State Police were called to Monticello High School to investigate.  Four K-9s were brought in to search the school. 

The all clear was given at approximately 11:45 a.m.  Students and staff were allowed back into the building.
