A fiery three car crash on Route 6 sent two people by helicopter to the University of Virginia Medical Center. It happened around 4 p.m. between Route 151 and Route 29 in Faber.

Virginia State Police say one of the drivers in the crash crossed over the double yellow line slamming head-on into another car. Both drivers were airlifted to UVA Medical Center and are listed in fair condition.

Virginia State Police say alchohol and speed were not a factor.

A third car was involved in the crash but that driver walked away with minor injuries.
