Mandy joined the WHSV news team in January 2022 as a weekend reporter. She graduated from James Madison University where she studied Media Arts and Design with a concentration in Journalism and a minor in Sport Communications.
During her time at JMU, Mandy was a staff writer for its student-run newspaper, The Breeze, and spent her summers back home as the media relations specialist for her hometown summer league baseball team, The Peninsula Pilots.
In her free time, Mandy enjoys going to concerts, attending sporting events and watching reality TV shows. Although she spent four years at JMU immersed in the Harrisonburg community, Mandy is excited to explore more of Rockingham County and the Shenandoah Valley.
