MaKayla Grapperhaus joined the NBC29 team September 2022. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in English.
During her time at UVA, she wrote for The Cavalier Daily. She was also a staff writer for PVCC’s student newspaper, The Forum, prior to transferring to UVA.
In her free time, she enjoys taking pottery classes, photography, rock climbing, and exploring new hiking trails. She has two cats, Arthur and Guinevere.
