Students from Louisa County Middle School stopped by the Louisa County Fire and EMS stations Friday as part of a month-long initiative to spread kindness and build positive relations within the community.
The greater-Charlottesville region is still a hot travel destination, and businesses in the area have received some new awards to back it up. Both the city and Albemarle County had a strong showing at the recent 2020 Ordinary Awards.
The project is scheduled to take 90 days from start to finish and will encompass the part of East Main Street between the train tracks crossing and up to including the intersection of East Main, Byrd Street, and May Fray Avenue.
The 2020 Critter Ball begins on Wednesday and things are going to be a little different this year. This year the event will be an online auction event to raise funds for the Charlottesville - Albemarle SPCA.
