Steve co-anchors NBC 29 News at 5, 6 and 11. An award-winning anchor and reporter whose work has been recognized by the Associated Press and Society of Professional Journalists, Steve has called Central Virginia home for 15 years now.
Jennifer Von Reuter joined the NBC29 news team in June 2009 as a general assignment reporter, before moving to morning anchor.
Dryden joined the NBC29 team in October, 2021. She came to us from WRAL-TV in Raleigh where she’s been a production assistant since graduating from Duke University in the spring of 2021. While in Durham, Dryden was a reporter for the 9th Street Journal and turned stories for Carolina Week.
Bria Stith joined NBC29 at the end of May 2022. She came to the Charlottesville area after graduating from East Carolina University in May 2022. While at school, Bria was a part of the ECU Women’s Track and Field team. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication and Master of Science in Sport management.
Anahita Jafary joined the NBC29 team on Monday, June 27. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in communication and minor in poverty, inequality, and social justice. On her off-time, she loves trying new restaurants, cooking, and traveling.
Maggie Glass joined the NBC29 team in June, 2023. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2023 and is from Richmond, Virginia. In her free time, Maggie likes to run and spend time with her family.
Destini Harris joined the NBC29 team in May, 2023. Before joining the team, she was a producer at WAVY TV 10 in Portsmouth and a news intern at CBS19 news in Charlottesville. Destini graduated from Old Dominion University where she earned a Bachelors in Communications. She is also a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
Keagan Hughes joined NBC29 July 25, 2022. Keagan graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Interpersonal Skills Communications and a minor in Creative Writing. While at JMU, she was a reporter, producer, managing-editor, and anchor for the school’s newscast, BreezeTV.
Jared Kline joined the NBC29 team in December 2022 after nearly a decade in local news. He’s no stranger to the area; Jared grew up just outside Harrisonburg in the Shenandoah Valley. Jared graduated from Concord University in Athens, W.Va., where he was involved in the campus television and radio stations.
Amaya joined the NBC29 team in May, 2023. She graduated from Regent University with a degree in Communications. Before joining the team, she worked at WAVY TV 10 in Virginia Beach as a studio technician and assignment editor. Amaya is originally from Halifax, VA. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and traveling.
Jacob Phillips joined the NBC29 team on February 2, 2023. He was born in Buffalo, New York, and later moved to central Virginia. Jacob graduated from VCU with a degree in broadcast journalism. At VCU, he worked on a student-run sports radio show called The Aftermath and dabbled in various podcasting projects.
Josh Fitzpatrick joined the NBC29 weather team in November 2017. He comes to central Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley from WSAZ-TV, the NBC affiliate in Huntington/Charleston, West Virginia where he was a meteorologist for 10 years.
Eric Pritchett, a Shenandoah Valley native from Staunton, is the weeknight Meteorologist at NBC29. Eric graduated with a BA from Mary Washington College. He majored in political science, and studied earth science and geography. He earned his certificate in Broadcast Meteorology in 2006, and is a member and TV seal holder with both the NWA and AMS.
David Rogers is the sunrise meteorologist on NBC29. David is a 30 year television veteran. Prior to joining NBC29, he was weeknight meteorologist at WCBS in New York, and later as meteorologist on 'CBS This Morning.'
Jon Decker is the White House Correspondent and Senior National Editor for Gray Television and has been a member of the White House Press Corps since 1995.
Peter Zampa joined the Gray Television Washington News Bureau in June 2015 as a multimedia journalist.
Brendan Cullerton joined the Gray Television Washington News Bureau in March 2022 as a multimedia journalist after spending four years covering state, local, and federal politics for the CBS affiliate in Milwaukee.
I started working at Gray TV’s Washington D.C. bureau in May of 2023. I found my calling for news while attending Butler University during the Ferguson Riots after the killing of Michael Brown, an unarmed teenager. During the chaotic times is when I realized how facts and storytelling can really impact a community.
Molly Martinez rejoined Gray Television in March 2022 as a multimedia journalist in the Washington News Bureau. She previously covered politics at Gray TV's KFYR-TV in Bismarck, N.D.
Ashonti Ford joined Gray Television in August of 2023. Ford is a well-traveled watchdog journalist who has worked for newsrooms around the nation, including; Tampa, Kansas City, Decatur, Wichita and Salisbury.
Stetson Miller joined the Gray Television Washington News Bureau in February 2023 as a multimedia journalist after working at WTOP, WJZ in Baltimore and WCBD in Charleston, SC.
Josh Rultenberg joined the Gray Television Washington News Bureau in July 2022 as a multimedia journalist.
Annie has worked at various news outlets in Washington, D.C., including covering the 2020 and 2022 election cycles for C-SPAN. Before that she worked at local stations in Louisiana and Virginia.
Joshua worked at several local stations before moving to Washington, D.C.. There he launched a national morning show, "The National Desk" for Sinclair. He now works as a producer for the Gray Washington News Bureau.
Leah Vredenbregt joined the Gray Washington Bureau team in June 2023 as a weekend producer. She is a recent University of Missouri grad who worked for three years in mid-Missouri news, with internships across the country in both local and national news outlets.
Michael is a born and raised Ohioian who got his photojournalism start at his alma mater Ohio University working for PBS in 2007. He has gone on to work for several media outlets both locally and nationally, shooting award winning news and documentary stories, garnering him an Emmy and Edward Murrow award.
Tyler Smith joined the Gray Television Washington News Bureau in July 2019 as a photojournalist/editor.
Lee leads Gray Television’s National Investigative Team. Lee also works as an Evening News Anchor and Chief Investigative Reporter at WVUE.
