Moriah joined NBC29 as a reporter in July 2018 after graduating from Hampton University with a degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in liberal arts. She is originally from Hampton, Virginia and is happy to be reporting in a place close to home.
Josh Fitzpatrick joined the NBC29 weather team in November 2017. He comes to central Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley from WSAZ-TV, the NBC affiliate in Huntington/Charleston, West Virginia where he was a meteorologist for 10 years.
Daniel Grimes joined the NBC 29 team in July of 2019 after graduating with a master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
Aileen Hnatiuk graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelors degree in Communications with a focus in journalism in May 2018. She joined NBC29 in July 2018.
Lottye joined the NBC 29 news team in July of 2018. She is thrilled to be back where she was raised after graduating from George Mason University with a degree in communication.
CJ joined the NBC 29 team in August of 2019 after serving as editor-in-chief of HN Entertainment, an online media outlet dedicated to covering breaking entertainment news.
Steve co-anchors NBC 29 News at 5, 6 and 11. An award-winning anchor and reporter whose work has been recognized by the Associated Press and Society of Professional Journalists, Steve has called Central Virginia home for 15 years now.
David Rogers is the sunrise meteorologist on NBC29. David is a 30 year television veteran. Prior to joining NBC29, he was weeknight meteorologist at WCBS in New York, and later as meteorologist on 'CBS This Morning.'
Matt joins the NBC29 News at Sunrise team as co-anchor from 4:30 - 7:00 AM after leading weekend editions of NBC29 News at 6 & 11 and CW29 News at 10 as anchor. Matt also co-anchors NBC29 News at Noon.
Tara Todd joined the NBC29 news team as a general assignment reporter in 2012. She has been a photojournalist at NBC29 since 2005 and has enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of national stories that have changed the world and local stories that have changed lives in her own backyard.
Riley Wyant graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2019 with a degree in multimedia journalism, a minor in political science, and a concentration in sports media and analytics. She joined the NBC29 team in January of 2020.
