Quirk Hotels under new management starting April 1

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - The Quirk Hotels in Charlottesville and Richmond are getting a management change starting Friday, April 1.

Retro Hospitality, which is based out of Richmond, is taking over from Hyatt Hotels.

CEO Paul Cooper says there will be a different focus on the operations of the properties, but from a guest perspective everything will stay the same.

“We’re looking at enhancing the food and beverage offerings here, specifically with our signature restaurant, the Pink Grouse, and also we just opened a spirits bar called Bobboo,” Cooper said.

Retro Hospitality is also involved with the Dairy Market in Charlottesville.
